A new version of Traffic Manager is now available and this Hoctoplus News issue is dedicated to this application. The firsts installations will be done during February.

Traffic Manager
New version
We have ended the development of the latest version of Traffic Manager and we are proud to show you its new features. With this new version, you can now follow up the traffic of:
- sent emails,
- sent SMS,
- received SMS,
Moreover, it is now possible to resend any type of document and forward it to a new recipient list. For this occasion, the interface has been slightly re-designed.
We have also added some new features has:
- a better display for documents.
- the possibility to change the owner of a document.
- Changed the keep duration.
- Added some new filters in the search.
- the possibility to generate a .PDF report for sent faxes.
The application is in test mode and should be released to the public in few days. Here are some screenshots:

Traffic Manager - Web client
Now the email and SMS follow up has been added to Traffic Manager it was important to add those changes to the Web client.
So the Traffic Manager Web can now see all sent emails and sent/received SMS.
Here again, you can forward or resend any document to a recipient list.
Traffic Manager Web has quite the same functions the the Windows client application but allows you to not deploy a client on every user PC. The installation is done once, as a Web server, and all your user need is an Internet Browser. It is simple and secure!

Net HelpMsg
You may have already seen that sometimes FaxStar Advanced Server returns an error code instead of a comprehensive message. This is mostly due to the fact the returned code has been sent by the operating system and not by FaxStar itself.
Since there are many possible error codes and many languages, the code is returned this way.
For instance if a needed network share is not accessible anymore you probably see an "error 5" code in the black window. In order to know what does error 5 mean, you can run the Window command "Net HelpMsg".
For instance: NET HELPMSG 5 will return "Access denied".
