FaxStar
Rent your FaxStar license!
Some of our customers requested to rent their FaxStar instead of buying it. Today it's possible:
- the customer provides the PC,
- the customer provides the faxboard (according to our specifications),
- the customer rents the desired licenses for 1 year,
- this rent includes the support and maintenance.
Advantages:
- No investissment,
- Renew every year for 1 year.

Backup unit
Need a second FaxStar for backup purpose?
A lot of customers want to have a second FaxStar for backup purpose. So we have work on a new commercial offer in this way:
- the customer provides the PC for the second unit,
- the customer buys to Hoctoplus the needed fax boards,
- the main unit must be covered by a support/maintenance contract,
- we provide for free the new licenses for the backup unit, but:
- licenses are renew every year,
- the backup unit must be covered by a special support/maintenance contract,
- a live test must be performed at least once every year,
- when active, the backup unit sends a fax to Hoctoplus every day.

Traffic Manager
New feature: Statistics
out Traffic Manager application is still growing. Today it's a statistic module that has been added! This module, available for free in the standard version of the program, will bring you some nice graphics and mathematics data regarding your traffic.
For instance you'll be able for a selected period of time to know how many faxes have been:
- Sent
- Received
- Failed
- Received in error
There are many graphics that will help you to understand the line usage and maybe notice that you should resize your traffic. Here are some screenshots:

Monthly Offer
This month, you'll have until 2010 June the 30th to take advantage on our monthly offer. It is based on the SMS option of FaxStar Advanced Server. This option will help you to send and receive SMS through your FaxStar server if you own a GSM modem and a valid SIM card.
For any order receiveed before the 30/06/2010, you'll have a 15% on this option.
Hoctoplus Monthly Tip
Disable the prefix for a call
If your FaxStar server is plugged to a PBX line, it is probably configured by default to automatically dial a prefix for each outgoing call. It is very smart but the problem is that it becomes impossible to dial to an internal number!
There's a trick youhave to know. If you add a "caret" just before the number you want to dial in the **(fax) command, FaxStar won't dial the default prefix.
Example : **(fax) ^323
Please note that this only work for the "Host" module (send fax from AS/400, Unix, Poll Directory...) and not using a FaxStar MailGateway.
