Microsoft Fax Plugin

Windows 2000 and XP are provided with a modem fax application named Microsoft Fax. FaxStar Advanced Server is able to simulate a modem and can connect to this application to allow your users to send fax this way.
User only prints his document on the Fax printer and then Microsoft Fax application appears. User can then enter his recipient fax number, and add a cover page if he like to. Once all options are selected, Microsoft Fax sends the result to the FaxStar Advanced Server.
Once the fax is sent, user receives an aknowledgment email. Easy isn't it?

Some new features

There are some news regarding the SMS option of FaxStar:

1. You can now use USB modems
2. You can use up to 16 modem at the same time.

With those new functions, you should be able to send about 7200 messages per hour.
What can you do with SMS?

1. Some of our customers use SMS for:
   1. tell their customers their order is ready,
   2. tell their customers their order is shipped,
   3. Tell their customers something's missing in their order.
   4. ...
   It's a modern way of communication, the more your customers are informed, the more they are happy.
2. Some of our customers use SMS to send special offer or instant news.
3. Or for some meetings:
   1. to inform them of new meetings,
   2. to confirm their inscription,
   3. to remind them the meeting.

Mailbody

Do you know that with FaxStar you can send dynamic mailbodies? Simply add a **MAILBODY or **XMAILBODY command followed by the name of any .TXT or HTML file. Using the **MAILBODY command, the .txt or .html file must exist in the "images" folder, while using the **XMAILBODY files must exist in the "Xattach" folder or in any network folder using UNC link.
Note that if you add the D letter at the end of the command, you will ask FaxStar to delete the corresponding document once it has been sent.

Here are some examples:
