Traffic Manager
Some new features
Because we think it's important to bring you a nice and good looking traffic follow up interface, we recently developped our own Traffic Manager solution for FaxStar Advanced Server: Traffic Manager.
This client/serveur application running under Windows already own the following features:
- unlimited number of users
- ability to give special rights to users according to usergroups levels
- fast traffic update
- ability to resend or delete pending faxes
- Image display (TIF mode) of any received or sent fax
- Ability to follow up to 10 FaxStar Advanced Servers
Today, Traffic Manager is able to follow up the traffic of any faxes sent from a Host using the Print function or via via the Poll Directory method. Really soon, you'll be able to see your MailGateway traffic in it.
In its latest version, Traffic Manager allows you to import/export your complete configuration (including the settings, users and usergroups) for backup purpose. We have also wroka lot on the purging system for more performance.

Complete proposition
In order to complete the Lasernet solution we've decided to bring you an externalised solution of printing, stamping and document sending with a partner of us. This partner will do all the job for you:
- B&W printing or color printing
- stamping
- postal sending

Windows and Network Shares
Maybe you have already notice that Windows always forget the username and password of some share folders? Of course this is a good thing for security reasons, but sometimes it can be annoying.
It exists a DOS command that you can add in a BAT file when your PC starts that can help you:
net use \\Machine\Folder My_Password /USER:My_User
Using this simple Windows command no authentication should be ask during all your Windows session.
